Our Story.
Global Compliance Services (GCS) Ltd (formerly Breathe Laboratory) was founded in 2025 and we exist to deliver a seamless, timely and customer-focused testing service.
Our aim is simple:
To become the Respiratory Protective Device testing laboratory of choice in Europe.
The laboratory came to be after a history in the Respiratory Protective Device (RPD) market dating back to 2001. It all started with hiring, selling, servicing and providing training on RPDs for many industries including petrochemical, pharmaceutical and utilities.
As the company grew, natural progression and this technical foundation led us to establish an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory (No. 8856).
Accreditation was granted in 2016 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) who are the sole National Accreditation Body for the UK. Our full UKAS Schedule of Accreditation can be found here.
Since then, we have never stood still and Global Compliance Services was founded to continue our commitment to continuous development, both of the laboratory personnel and the scope of tests that we carry out.
